Flexamat® Permanent Erosion Control
How Flexamat® Works
The Flexamat® polypropylene geogrid is created with concrete blocks locked together. Flexamat® is permanently positioned in channels, outlet protection, on slopes, for shoreline protection and many other applications to reduce erosion.
Flexamat® is packaged in rolls, making transportation and installation efficient. The mat is made with connected 6.5” x 6.5” blocks with a 1.5” gaps to allow optional vegetation growth. It can be manufactured with various backings such as non-woven fabric to stop vegetation growth or a turf reinforcement mat depending on the soil conditions and other factors.
